City Gent Fanzine Front Cover Issue 233

The final issue of The City Gent of the 2021/22 is now on sale as the Bradford City embark on what will hopefully be a new era of Bantam Progressivism under Mark Hughes.

CG233 contains plenty of comment about the appointment of the new manager and also we have an exclusive interview with City's CEO Ryan Sparks who has had another candid chat with Mark Douglas. CG233 is another 64 page issue filled with as manay articles that editor Mike Harrison could squeeze in and at just £2 plus postage it remains incredible value for money.

City Gent 232 (February/March 2022) U.K. postage JUST £2.60 inc. UK postage

City Gent Fanzine Front Cover Issue 232

Nobody can ever say it is dull following Bradford City can they as another manager with a previous excellent track record fails to recreate their promotion winning formula at Valley Parade.

In this issue of The City Gent editor Mike Harrison was able to comment on the sacking of Derek Adams in his editorial which happened the day before CG232 had to be finished.

This issue is another 68-page edition full of interesting article reflecting what it has been like to follow Bradford City through the final day dark days of the regime under Derek Adams. Though this issue is not exclusively concentrating on how dreadful things have been at Valley Parade in the past 6 weeks as there are plenty of really interesting articles to help lighten the mood.

City Gent 231 (December 2021) U.K. postage JUST £2.60 inc. UK postage

City Gent Fanzine Front Cover Issue 231

The Christmas/New Year issue of the City Gent is the 3rd issue of the current 2021/22 season and reflects the thoughts and opinions of Bradford City fans as the team continues to be hard to beat, but find winning games equally difficult.

In CG231 there is of course John Watmough’s “Counsel & Criticism” column, plus editor Mike Harrison’s editorial “From the Bantam’s Beak”. But in between are plenty of interesting articles which includes quite possibly the first fanzine article with QR codes. CG231 is another bumper 68 page issue and still only costs £2 on match days at Valley Parade or £3.20 including p&p.

City Gent 230 (November 2021) U.K. postage JUST £2.60 inc. UK postage

City Gent Fanzine Front Cover Issue 230

CG230 tries to make sense of how a team can lose so badly at home to Hartlepool but then win so well away at Swindon four days later. This issue is another 64 page edition with many articles submitted by first time contributors following my appeal for contributions. Plus, there are many regular columns like John Watmough’s “Counsel and Criticism” which as always is both thought provoking and controversial. And it is still only £2 plus p&p.
